Because of the lack of entries the organisers of Sail for Gold 2013 (the RYA and WPNSA) have reduced the number of Course areas frm five to three. The impact of this is that the SolentXtra team will not be represented - the first time since 2007!
The lack of support from UK Sport and scheduling the event close to and between Medemblik and Kiel was always going to make the viability of SFG questionable. Lets hope this can be addressed for 2014 otherwise it is likely to die.
