Retired Consultant Cardiac Surgeon operating on adults, children and babies.  Now able to spend a lot of time on the water.
Enjoy cycling and walking.  Two grown up children, both married.

Race Management Experience: 
13+ years of race management covering Olympic classes, dinghies, boards, keelboats (double handed and fully crewed) and multihulls. Course configurations include windward/leeward, trapezoid, sausage triangle, round the cans.
RS:X Class Race Director; Member of the RS:X Technical Committee 2011-2014.
ISAF Sailng World Cup Principal Race Officer 2011 and 2012;  
International Technical Officer for ISAF World Championships 2011.
Course Race Officer 2012 Olympic Games.
Eurosaf Champions Sailing Cup Principal Race Officer 2013 and 2014.
ISAF Race Management Instructor and chariman of the ISAF Seminar Update Group; wrote the new style seminars for the RYA Regional, RYA National and ISAF Race Management Seminars.
