ISAF/RYA Qualifications: CRO+; Dinghy Instructor; VHF/DSC; Powerboat Level 2.
Race Management Experience: Heavy involvement in Team Racing over the past 5 years but with experience of fleet racing for dinghies and Olympic Classes too. Part of the race committee at many national and international team racing events. Scheduled all major UK Team Racing events as well as events in Ireland, Australia and Italy.
Major Events: Team Racing - Student World championships, 2011 China; Wilson Trophy x 7 (2006-2012); UK National Championships x 2 (2009,2011); UK National Youth and Junior Championship x 4 (2008-2011) BUSA Team Racing Finals x 6 (2006-2011); Oxford Magnum x 3 (2009-2011); Cambridge Cup x 5 (2008-2012).
Fleet Racing - Laser Masters World Championships 2010; Olympic Test Event 2011; ISAF Sailing World Cup Events x 2 (Sail for Gold, 2010-2011).
Sailing and Racing Experience: Currently enjoying cruising around the Solent and beyond sailing Spirit III, a Benetaeu 405 moored in Gosport. Team raced for Cambridge University for 4 years (Ladies and Mixed) and competed at both BUSA TR Finals and in the Varsity Match against Oxford. On bigger boats, I have competed in BUSA Yachting and Round the Island Race. Prior to that I was Dinghy Instructor working for Menorca Sailing in the Med during my university summers.
