Real Life: : A varied career from tourist management in Crete to finding oil
as a Geophysicist in the North Sea; from running a catering business to
teaching in secondary school; latterly heading a special educational needs
department with a specialism in dyslexia.
Mum of three boys I now am privileged
to be able to sit back and watch them in their ‘real lives’.
One is in sailing high performance management, one Finn sailing and one
deciding that it is much more sensible to work on a super yacht. Living in Scotland I am an enthusiastic hill
walker and volunteer for the Loch Lomond National Park.

Sailing and Racing Experience: Started sailing and working on yachts in Corfu after leaving college and then became involved in dinghy sailing as my boys became keen. I sailed and raced toppers and lasers at club level and began to be involved in race management as the boys progressed through the RYA squad systems. Much better than being a binocular mum!!
