Real Life: Mainly as a Joiner/carpenter.  Currently living in Bristol and working in a 4star hotel.  Enjoy playing golf, with a handicap of 7.  RNLI volunteer crew at Pwllheli.

ISAF/RYA Qualifications: Powerboat Instructor; Advanced First aid; VHF/DSC.

Race Management Experience: Involved since 2005 in a number of roles - safety team, course safety leader, mark layer and committee boat crew.  Course Knowledge - windward/leeward, Olympic triangle and trapezoid.  Disciplines include dinghies and boards.

Major Events: As mark layer - World Championships x 2 (Cadet 2007, Splash 2009); National Championships x 2 (2010-2012).
Safety - Olympic Test Event 2011; ISAF Sailing World Cup Events x 3 (Sail for Gold, 2009-2011); National Championships x 11 (2008-2012).

Sailing and Racing Experience:  Started Sailing from the age of 10 at Pwllheli in a optimist and progressing up to 50ft.  Yacht racing - round the cans (Cardigan Bay onboard various yachts such as, Swan 38, J24, J92, J109, Beneteau 34, Beneteau 50, Sigma 38) and offshore (crossed the Irish sea many times with the Irish Sea Offshore Racing Association; 25th edition of the ARC (2010); circumnavigation of Britain & Ireland onboard a  44ft racing yacht finishing 3rd).  Yacht deliveries in the Mediterranean and around the UK coast.
