The J Class are to have a stand alone regatta in Falmouth in 2015 managed by SolentXtra. They are already attending the Royal Yacht Squadron Bicentinary International Regatta from 26th to 31st July in the Solent and want something beforehand.
The Falmouth Regatta will run with racing from Tuesday 23rd June until Saturday 27th June 2015 inclusive. SolentXtra has been asked to supply the leading members of the race management team and to be responsible for all aspects of the racing. The Royal Cornwall YC is the organising authority.
Four or five boats are expected to compete.
Robert Lamb will lead the team with Mike Garvey as his deputy, Tina Scott as timekeeper, Simon Pickess and Paul Jackson as mark layers. The team will work with RCYC members who make up the rest of the race management team.
